The navigation bar runs across the top of every signed-in page and gets you to any part of Ezana in one or two clicks. This guide walks through each item from left to right so you know where everything lives.
How it works
- Ezana logo: takes you to your Home page.
- Bell: opens your notifications. A badge appears when you have unread items.
- Checklist icon: shows your progress through the Getting Started checklist.
- Dashboard: your portfolio overview. University (organization) members see Team Hub here instead.
- Research: a dropdown of research tools (listed below).
- Trading: a dropdown with Brokerage Account and Mock Portfolio.
- Sonar, Watchlist, Community, and Learning Center: direct links.
- Profile icon, gear, and log out: on the right. The gear opens Settings.
The Research dropdown
- Ezana Sonar: search across Ezana’s datasets.
- Company & Portfolio Research: ticker-level research. See Using Company Research.
- Global Market Analysis: a world map of economic and demographic data. See Market Analysis Tools.
- Ezana Echo: Ezana’s articles.

Step-by-step
- Hover or tap Research or Trading to open its dropdown.
- Choose a destination; the active section stays highlighted.
- Click the gear to open Settings, where you can change theme under Appearance.
Troubleshooting
- Dropdown won’t open? Click the item directly; on touch screens a tap expands it.
- An item looks locked or missing? Some tools depend on your plan or beta access. See Understanding Ezana Plans.
