Using the Power-User Terminal

2 min read

The Ezana Terminal is a dense, single-screen view of the market and your portfolio, styled after professional trading terminals. It puts market indices, your holdings, allocation, risk, and top movers on one page so you can scan everything at once.

Availability

The Terminal is in the mobile navigation menu and at /terminal. During the beta it is one of the features marked v1.0, and on many accounts it opens a notice that it will be available with the v1.0 launch.

How it works

  • Market Overview: tiles for the S&P 500, NASDAQ, and Dow, plus ETF stand-ins for gold (GLD), oil (USO), bonds (TLT), and bitcoin (IBIT), with VIX and a euro proxy (FXE).
  • Portfolio: Total Value, Today, and Total Return.
  • Holdings and Positions: ticker, shares, price, and value for each holding.
  • Asset Allocation and a Correlation Matrix across your holdings.
  • Portfolio Performance and Risk Analysis.
  • Risk Suggestions: general checks such as sector concentration, rebalancing, correlated holdings, and diversification.
  • Top Movers Today.

Portfolio panels use holdings from a brokerage connected through Plaid. Quotes refresh periodically while the page is open.

Step-by-step

  1. Open the Terminal from the menu.
  2. Scan Market Overview for the day’s tone.
  3. Check Portfolio totals, then Holdings for individual moves.
  4. Review Allocation, the Correlation Matrix, and Risk Analysis.
  5. Open Company Research for any ticker you want to dig into.

Things to know

  • There is no command line; the Terminal is a read-only dashboard, and typed commands are not currently available.
  • Risk Suggestions are general rules of thumb, not advice tailored to you.

Troubleshooting

  • Seeing a v1.0 notice? The Terminal is not yet enabled for your account.
  • Portfolio panels empty? Connect a brokerage from Home with + Add Portfolio.
  • A tile shows no price? The quote was unavailable; it fills in on the next refresh.
