Appearance: Light and Dark Mode

Ezana supports both light and dark themes. The app defaults to light mode; the sun/moon icon in the navbar toggles between them at any time.

How your preference is saved

Your choice is saved to your account settings in Supabase (user_settings.theme) and also mirrored to localStorage for fast first paint. When you log in on another device, your preferred theme follows you.

System-specific behavior

• Some pages (the Global Market Analysis map, for instance) are always rendered in dark mode regardless of your preference, because the map visualization only reads well against a dark background. The rest of the app still respects your setting.
• The Help Center, Dashboard, Research, Trading, Community, Settings, and Learning Center all follow your theme preference — they never force a specific mode.
