Ezana can tell you about congressional trades, big price moves, earnings, community activity, and more. You control what reaches you from Settings, then Notifications. Notifications arrive in three places: the in-app bell, email, and desktop push in your browser.
How it works
- Desktop: one switch turns on browser push notifications. Your browser asks for permission only when you flip it on; Ezana never asks at sign-up or login.
- Email: switches for Trade confirmations, Price alerts, Community replies and mentions, and the Weekly newsletter. Click Save changes to keep them.
- In-app bell: choose which signals can add items to your bell: Earnings Alerts, Macro Events, Watchlist Movers, Portfolio Alerts, Sector Shifts, Congressional Trades, Price Target Changes, Breaking News, Direct Messages, Community Interactions, Lobbying Disclosures, Patent Activity, Learning Milestones, and a Sunday Weekly Digest. These switches save as soon as you change them.
- Minimum severity: all notifications, noteworthy and critical only, or critical only.
Step-by-step
- Click the gear in the navigation bar, then choose Notifications.
- Turn on Desktop notifications if you want push, and allow the browser prompt.
- Pick the email types you want, then click Save changes.
- Under In-app bell, switch categories on or off and set a minimum severity.
- For watchlist price moves, create a watchlist and tick Notify me on major price moves (±5%).
What you’ll see
New items show a badge on the bell in the navigation bar. Open it to read and clear them. Email and push arrive on the channels you enabled.
Troubleshooting
- Desktop switch unavailable? Some browsers do not support web push; the panel says so.
- No push after enabling? Check that your browser and operating system allow notifications for ezana.world.
- Too many bell items? Raise the minimum severity or turn off noisy categories.
- Watchlist alerts not firing? They are checked while Ezana is open in your browser, so they will not arrive when every tab is closed.
Things to know
Quiet hours and per-category email digests (instant, daily, weekly) are not currently available. The only digest today is the Sunday Weekly Digest in the bell settings.

Q: Can I set a custom price threshold per ticker?
A: Not currently. Watchlist alerts use a fixed ±5% move from the previous close.
Q: Does turning off a bell category stop emails too?
A: No. Email types have their own switches in the Email section.
