The first time you sign in, Ezana asks a short set of questions to build your investor profile, then gives you a one-time guided tour of the app. Both take a few minutes, and neither connects an account or charges you.
Step-by-step
- Sign in. Until onboarding is finished, Ezana sends you to the onboarding page.
- Answer seven questions: how long you have invested, what you have traded or held, how you would react to a 20% drop in a week, your main goal, how confident you are reading financial statements, what share of savings you would invest, and which parts of Ezana interest you most.
- Use Back to change an earlier answer, and Continue on questions where you can select more than one option.
- Review Your Investor Profile, then click Continue to Ezana.
- On Home, follow the guided tour, or click Skip tour.
What you’ll see
Your profile shows a Skill Level (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, or Expert) and a Risk Profile (Conservative, Moderate, Growth-Oriented, or Aggressive), calculated from your answers and saved to your account.
The tour covers the Home dashboard, the navigation, your Getting Started checklist, Company Research, and pinning cards to Home. It appears once; after you finish or skip it, it does not return. Members of an organization get tours for their role (Executive, Portfolio Manager, or Analyst), and partners and organization members see their own questionnaires.
Things to know
- Onboarding cannot be skipped: you return to it until the questions are complete.
- Re-running the questionnaire or the tour later is not currently available.
- Onboarding never links a bank or brokerage. Connecting one is a separate, optional step from Home.
Troubleshooting
- Stuck on “Saving…”? Your results show right away, and saving is retried when you click Continue. If it still fails, refresh the page.
- Keep landing back on onboarding? Your answers did not save. Complete the questions again and click Continue to Ezana.
- Missed the tour? The Getting Started checklist on Home covers the same first steps.
