Researching a Stock End-to-End

2 min read

This walkthrough links Ezana’s research tools into one repeatable workflow, so you can go from a ticker to an informed view efficiently. Use the steps that fit your question; you do not need all of them.

Step-by-step

  1. Company & Portfolio Research: search the ticker, review the price chart, and run the analysis models (GRPV Analysis, DCF Valuation, Comparable Company Analysis, and more).
  2. Earnings Analysis: in the same page, the Earnings Call Analyzer reads management tone from recent call transcripts.
  3. Global Market Analysis: place the company in its sector context.
  4. Inside The Capitol: check whether members of Congress traded the name.
  5. For The Quants: assess how it would affect your portfolio risk.
  6. Watchlist: add the ticker and turn on alerts for major price moves (±5%).
  7. Practice the idea in your Mock Portfolio before committing real money.

Things to know

  • During the beta, Inside The Capitol, For The Quants, and Centaur Intelligence open behind a Coming Soon in v1.0 notice for most accounts. Skip those steps if they are locked for you.
  • Company Research, Global Market Analysis, Watchlist, and Mock Trading are available now.
  • Team Hub members can send research to their team from Company Research.

What you’ll end up with

A multi-signal picture (valuation, management tone, sector context, political activity where available, and portfolio fit) rather than a single number in isolation.

Troubleshooting

  • Signals conflict? That is normal. Weigh them; no single tool decides.
  • Thin data on a small company? Coverage is best for larger names.
  • “No earnings call analysis available”? No transcript is on file for that ticker yet.
  • A step opens a Coming Soon notice? That tool is part of the v1.0 launch. Move on to the next step.

FAQ

Q: Do I have to use every tool?

A: No. Treat the workflow as a menu, not a checklist.

Q: Is the output advice?

A: No. It is research to inform your own decision.

Q: Can Centaur Intelligence gather this for me?

A: Centaur Intelligence is part of the v1.0 launch. Until it opens for your account, follow the steps above.
