Related Prediction Markets on Events

Many event detail views in Ezana — geopolitical events, market analysis chain entries, Ezana Echo articles — show a Markets button that surfaces related prediction markets from Polymarket.

Where you'll find it

  • Global Market Analysis chain view (each event row).
  • ISR Article modals (geopolitical news).
  • Anywhere an event has a headline and description we can match to live markets.

How matching works

Ezana extracts keywords from the event's headline and body, queries Polymarket's public Gamma API for active markets matching those terms, then ranks results by keyword overlap and 24-hour trading volume. Closed and inactive markets are filtered out.

Reading the panel

Each market shows the question, current YES/NO odds in cents (e.g. 65¢ YES means 65% implied probability), 24-hour volume, and how soon the market closes. Click any row to open the live market on polymarket.com.

Why no results sometimes appear

If an event is niche or breaking news, Polymarket may not have an active market on it yet. The empty state confirms this — it's not a bug, it's accurate reporting that no relevant market exists.

Disclaimers

Prediction-market odds are aggregated probabilities from people willing to put money on a question — useful as a data point, not as a forecast from Ezana. We don't earn commission on Polymarket trades; the integration is informational only.
