When you read about an event in Ezana, you can see whether traders on Polymarket are pricing a related outcome. The related-markets panel lists live prediction markets that match the event, with their current odds and volume.
Where you’ll find it
- Global Market Analysis chain view: each event row has a Markets button.
- Event reports and ISR article windows: a View related prediction markets toggle below the article body.
Step-by-step
- Open Research → Global Market Analysis.
- On an event row, click Markets, or open an article and click View related prediction markets.
- Scan the rows (up to six) for the question you care about.
- Click a row to open that market on polymarket.com in a new tab.
- Click the button again (Hide Markets) to collapse the panel.
How it works
Ezana reads the event’s headline and summary and picks out named entities: companies, countries, people, organizations, and tickers. It then looks for active, open Polymarket markets that share those entities. Markets that do not clear a relevance bar are dropped, sports markets are rejected, and the rest are ranked by relevance, then by trading volume. If nothing is relevant enough, Ezana shows nothing rather than a loosely related market.
Reading the panel
Each row shows the market title and question, the current YES and NO prices in cents (a 65¢ YES price implies roughly a 65% probability), 24-hour volume, and when the market ends.
Things to know
Prediction-market odds reflect what people are willing to pay on a question. They are a useful data point, not a forecast from Ezana. The panel is informational: Ezana does not place Polymarket trades for you from it.
Troubleshooting
- “No high-confidence prediction markets match this article”? Candidates were found but none cleared the relevance bar.
- “No related markets found on Polymarket”? No active market mentions the event’s entities. Breaking or niche events often have none yet.
- Odds look stale? Reopen the panel to fetch the latest prices.
