Geopolitical Events Feed (ISR)

The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance) panel on the Global Market Analysis page is a feed of geolocated news from public sources, with Polymarket prediction markets attached where an event may move them. The name is a visual reference: ISR aggregates published news, it is not a surveillance tool.

Step-by-step

  1. Open Global Market Analysis from the Research menu.
  2. Open the ISR panel from the sidebar.
  3. Under Regions, choose one or more of: United States, Europe, UK, Middle East, China, Russia/Ukraine, India, Japan/Korea, Latin America, Africa, and Oceania.
  4. Set Topic (All, Geopolitics, Conflict, Economy, Energy, Health, or Tech), a minimum Severity (Low, Medium, High, or Critical), and a Window (last hour, 6 hours, 24 hours, or 7 days).
  5. Click an event in the list, or its pulsating dot on the map, to read the article inline.

How it works

  • While the tab is visible, the feed refreshes about once a minute.
  • Each event shows its headline, source, region, topic, and severity. Severity is a rough guide to how significant the story is, from Low to Critical.
  • The same events appear as pulsating dots on the map, so you can see where news is clustering. Drag to pan and scroll to zoom.
  • Events matched to a prediction market show a Polymarket pill with the market title and the current Yes price in cents. A price of 62¢ means traders put the outcome at roughly a 62% chance.

Troubleshooting

  • “No events match these filters”? Add regions, lower the severity, or widen the time window.
  • No Polymarket pill? Not every event has a related live market.
  • Page is always dark? Global Market Analysis is intentionally dark so the map stays legible.
