Managing External Brokerage Connections

Ezana uses Plaid to connect to external brokerages with read-only access. We can see your positions and balances; we cannot place trades or move money.

Supported brokerages

  • Charles Schwab
  • Fidelity
  • Vanguard
  • Robinhood
  • Interactive Brokers
  • Webull
  • Wealthfront
  • Many others — Plaid supports 12,000+ financial institutions.

How to connect

Settings → Integrations → Connect Brokerage. You'll be redirected to Plaid's secure flow where you log into your brokerage. Plaid stores the credentials, not Ezana — we only receive a token that lets us request balances and positions.

How to disconnect

Settings → Integrations → click the trash icon next to a connected account. The connection is severed immediately and Ezana retains a snapshot of the most recent data for 30 days before deleting it. You can also revoke connections at the source — every brokerage has a Connected Apps page where Plaid appears.

What we read, and how often

Holdings, transactions, and cash balances are refreshed every 4 hours during market hours and once daily after close. We do not read order history, dividends in transit, or any margin/loan information.

What we never see

Your brokerage username, password, 2FA codes. Plaid handles authentication and never shares credentials with us.
