You can delete your Ezana account yourself from Settings. Deletion is not instant: your account is scheduled for deletion, you are signed out, and you have a window in which you can change your mind before your data is permanently removed.
Step-by-step
- If you have an Ezana brokerage account, close any positions and withdraw your funds first. Deleting your Ezana profile does not move money for you.
- Go to Settings → My details and scroll to the Danger zone.
- Click Delete account.
- Read the summary, then type DELETE in the confirmation box.
- Click Delete my account.
What happens next
- Your subscription is set to cancel at the end of the current billing period, so there are no further charges.
- You are signed out of all your devices.
- Your account is marked for permanent deletion when the billing period ends. If you have no active paid period, the date is 14 days from your request.
- We email you a reactivation link and the scheduled deletion date.
Changing your mind
Open the reactivation link in that email any time before the scheduled date to restore your account. After that date your data is permanently removed and cannot be recovered.
Troubleshooting
- Delete button greyed out? Type DELETE exactly in the confirmation box.
- “Could not schedule deletion”? Try again, and if it repeats email contact@ezana.world.
- No reactivation email? Check spam, then contact support before the scheduled date.
- Just want to stop paying? Cancel your subscription instead. You keep your account and data.
- Want a copy of your data first? Request it from Settings, then Privacy & data, before you delete.
