If you've forgotten your password, you can reset it yourself from the sign-in page in a couple of minutes. You don't need to contact support unless the email never arrives.
Step-by-step
- On the sign-in screen, click Forgot password?
- Enter the email address on your account and submit.
- You'll see a Check Your Email confirmation. Open the password-reset email from Ezana and click the link.
- Ezana verifies the link. If it's valid, you'll see the new password form.
- Choose a new password and type it again to confirm, then submit.
- After Password Reset Successful!, sign in with your new password.
Password requirements
As you type, a checklist and strength meter show whether your password meets the rules:
- At least 8 characters
- One uppercase letter
- One lowercase letter
- One number
If the password is too weak, you'll be asked to choose a stronger one before it saves.
Troubleshooting
- No email? Check your spam or junk folder and search for "Ezana".
- Wrong address? Make sure you entered the exact email you signed up with.
- "Invalid or expired reset link"? Links are time-limited and work once. Request a new one from the Forgot password page.
- "Passwords do not match"? Retype the confirmation field carefully.
- Requested several emails? Use the link in the most recent one.
Changing a password you still know
If you're signed in and just want to rotate your password, go to Settings, then Password and enter your current password and the new one. While you're there, consider turning on two-factor authentication.
If you have 2FA enabled, you'll still enter your authenticator code on your next sign-in after resetting.
