Understanding the Leaderboard

The Community → Leaderboard ranks users by relative investing performance. It's designed to celebrate skill without ever exposing the dollars in anyone's account.

How ranking is computed

  • Users are ranked on percentage return, not account size.
  • We use time-weighted return so deposits and withdrawals don't distort the ranking.
  • Returns are computed over a rolling window (1M, 3M, 6M, 1Y, YTD, All). Pick a timeframe at the top of the page.

What's never shown

  • Portfolio totals in dollars.
  • Individual positions or sizes.
  • Any identifying info the user has marked private in their profile.

Leaderboard participation is optional — you can hide your handle from the ranking in Settings → Profile → Public Visibility.
