Your Ezana profile is public by default, but most of your financial detail is private by default. Every visibility choice lives in one place: Settings, then Profile. This article lists what other investors can see and how to change it.
Public by default
- Display name, username, bio, and profile photo.
- Follower and following counts, and your badges.
- Posts and comments you make in Community.
- Your activity in the Community feed.
- Your place on the Leaderboard.
Private by default
- Your portfolio performance (such as return and win rate).
- Your trades and your holdings.
- Your watchlists.
- Your email, phone, and brokerage details, which are never shown on your profile.
- Direct messages, which only the two participants can see.
Step-by-step
- Open Settings, then Profile.
- Use Public profile to make your whole profile private. When it is off, other users cannot open your profile.
- In the Privacy section, set each switch: Show my portfolio publicly, Show my activity in the community feed, Show me on the leaderboard, Show my trades publicly, Show my holdings, and Show my watchlist.
- Save your changes. They apply to your profile, the Community feed, and the Leaderboard.
- Open your own profile to check what it shows. Visibility switches only affect what other people see; you always see your full profile.
Troubleshooting
- Someone saw a post you expected to be private? Community posts are public. Delete the post if you no longer want it visible.
- Still on the leaderboard? Confirm “Show me on the leaderboard” is off and saved.
- Want to hide performance only? Leave Public profile on and keep “Show my portfolio publicly” off.
