Community Guidelines and Posting Rules

Be respectful and constructive. Share research, analysis, and insights, not hype or pump-and-dump schemes. Do not present specific buy or sell calls as financial advice.

Cite your sources when referencing data or news. Never share personal financial information (account numbers, Social Security numbers, and similar) in public posts. Spam, harassment, and hate speech can lead to removal of your content and suspension of your account.

How it works

Here is how to share a take in the Community feed:

1. Open the Community feed and click Share a take on the markets.
2. Write your analysis. Add a ticker with Search ticker so the post is anchored to it.
3. Set your conviction from 0 to 100.
4. Optionally add an image, a poll question, or a quote of another post.
5. Fill in the Position or sponsorship disclosure field if you hold the ticker or were paid to discuss it (for example, “Long $TSLA”).
6. Click Post take.

Do and don’t

• Do share original analysis, cite sources, and disclose positions you hold.
• Do keep it civil and assume good faith.
• Do set a conviction that honestly reflects your view.
• Don’t post pump-and-dump hype or guaranteed-return claims.
• Don’t give specific buy or sell instructions framed as advice.
• Don’t share anyone’s private financial details.

Things to know

• Deleting: open Post options on your own post and choose Delete post. Deletion cannot be undone.
• Editing: to fix a mistake, delete the post and share a corrected one.
• Reporting: open the … menu on a post, comment, message or profile and choose Report. We do not tell the author who reported it. See Reporting and Blocking.
• Post removed? It likely broke a guideline. You can share a new post that follows the rules.
• “Failed to post”? Check your connection and try again.
