When you start a paid Ezana plan through checkout, your subscription begins with a 14-day free trial. You get that plan’s features right away and are not charged until the trial ends. If you do not want a paid plan at all, the Free plan never expires.
Step-by-step
- Open the Choose your plan page.
- Click Start free trial on a paid plan.
- Enter a payment method on the secure Stripe checkout page. A card is required to start, but it is not charged yet.
- Use the plan for 14 days.
- To avoid a charge, cancel before the trial ends. Otherwise billing starts automatically when it ends.
How it works
- The trial is added only when you do not already have an active or trialing subscription, so you cannot stack trials.
- After the trial, the plan renews monthly or annually, depending on what you chose.
- Manage or cancel from Settings, then Plan with Manage subscription, which opens the Stripe billing portal. Payment methods and invoices are under Settings, then Billing.
- Canceling during the trial means you are not charged.
Things to know
- New accounts that have not chosen any plan have a 7-day access window. When it ends, you see “Your access period has ended” and are asked to choose a plan, which can be the Free plan.
- Some plans are marked Coming soon and cannot be started yet.
- Verified partners receive a discounted rate.
Troubleshooting
- Checkout canceled? You return to the plan page with a note; pick a plan when you are ready.
- “Billing is temporarily unavailable”? Try again in a few minutes.
- No trial offered? You already have an active or trialing subscription.
- Card declined? Try another card in checkout, or update it in the billing portal.
