Writing and Submitting Articles

Once you are an approved Echo Writer, you write, save, and submit articles from the Ezana Echo tab in Content Studio. Drafts stay private to you; submitted articles go to the editorial team for review before they appear on Ezana Echo.

Step-by-step

1. Open Content Studio → Ezana Echo. The editor opens under the heading Write New Article.
2. Enter a title. Make it accurate and specific; it is the first thing readers see.
3. Pick a category: Markets, Investing, Trading, Crypto, Economy, Politics, Technology, or Education.
4. Optionally add a cover image URL.
5. Write a 1–2 sentence excerpt. It appears on article cards.
6. Write the body in markdown: ## for headers, **bold**, *italic*, and - for bullet points.
7. Optionally add the article to a series, or create a new series by title.
8. Click Save Draft to keep working later, or Submit for Review when it is ready.

Editing and co-authors

Your saved articles are listed under Your Articles below the editor, each with its category and status (draft, submitted, or published). Click Edit to reopen one. After a draft has been saved at least once, you can credit co-authors by @username in the Co-authors field.

Troubleshooting

• Submit button disabled? Articles need at least 100 words. The live word count and estimated read time sit at the top of the editor.
• “Title and article body are required”? Both fields must have text, even for a draft.
• Can’t add a co-author? Save the draft first; the field unlocks once the article exists.
• Formatting looks off? Check for unclosed ** and leave a blank line before lists and headers.
• Lost changes? The editor does not autosave. Click Save Draft before leaving the page.

A: Yes. Open it from Your Articles, make changes, and click Submit for Review again so the updated version goes back through review.

A: Inline image upload is not currently available in the editor. You can set a cover image by URL.
