Every article you submit to Ezana Echo is reviewed by the editorial team before it is published. Review protects readers and your reputation: it checks that your numbers hold up, your writing is original, and any positions you hold are disclosed.
How it works
- You click Submit for Review in the Content Studio editor. The article must be at least 100 words.
- The status in Your Articles changes to submitted, and the editor confirms that review typically takes 24–48 hours.
- An editor reads the piece against the checklist below.
- If it is approved, the status becomes published and the article appears on Ezana Echo under your name.
- If it needs work, edit it and submit again. Each resubmission goes back through review.
What reviewers check
- Accuracy of financial data and claims.
- Writing quality, clarity, and originality (no plagiarism).
- Appropriate disclosures for positions you hold in anything you write about.
- Framing as analysis rather than a specific buy or sell recommendation.
- Adherence to the content guidelines.
Troubleshooting
- Stuck in submitted? Allow a full 48 hours, including weekends. If it is still pending after that, contact support with the article title.
- Held back for disclosure? Add a clear note about any position in the securities you mention, then resubmit.
- Edited a submitted article? Click Submit for Review again so reviewers see the latest version rather than the earlier one.
- Repeated rejections? Re-read the guidelines before resubmitting. Repeated violations can affect your Echo Writer status.
Tips for a faster approval
- Cite sources for statistics.
- Keep the title accurate to what the piece argues.
- Put disclosures near the top, not buried at the end.
