Verified partners have a Payouts tab in Settings, next to Billing. It holds the one bank account your partner earnings are deposited into, your pending and lifetime totals, and a history of every payout. This article covers how to add, replace and remove that account, and what Ezana does and does not handle for taxes.
Step-by-step
- Go to Settings → Payouts.
- Under Payout account, choose Connect with Plaid for instant verification, or Enter details manually.
- Plaid: sign in to your bank and pick the account. It is saved as Active straight away.
- Manual: enter your bank name, account holder name, 9-digit ABA routing number and account number, then click Save account. It is saved as Pending verification until the team confirms it.
- To change accounts, click Remove and add the new one.
How it works
You can have one active payout account at a time; linking a new one retires the old one. Ezana stores only the last four digits of your account and routing numbers, plus the institution and account name, which is what the card shows. Payouts are US bank transfers (ACH): Plaid linking uses US institutions and the routing number must be a valid US ABA number.
The panel shows Pending (payouts marked pending or processing), Lifetime paid, and the schedule, Monthly, 1st business day. Each payout in the history lists its date, the earning period it covers, a status of pending, processing, paid or failed, and the amount. Payouts are recorded by the partner team; there is no in-app withdraw button.
Tax forms
Tax forms are not currently collected or issued in the app: there is no tax-form upload in Settings and no in-app year-end tax document. For tax documentation related to your partner earnings, email partners@ezana.world and the team will set it up with you.
Troubleshooting
- “Invalid routing number”? The routing number must be exactly 9 digits and pass the standard ABA check digit.
- “Invalid account number”? Use 4 to 17 digits, numbers only.
- No Payouts tab? It appears only for active, verified partners.
