Creating and Managing Trading Strategies

2 min read

Strategies are how copy trading is designed to be organized: each one is a named, described set of your trading activity that users could choose to copy. Strategy publishing is part of the copy-trading roadmap and is not live yet. This article explains what you see today and how strategies are meant to work at launch.

Status: strategy creation and copier mirroring are part of the copy-trading roadmap (coming soon). The Your Strategies card on the Partner Dashboard is a preview. The strategies listed there are sample data, and the New Strategy button does not create a strategy yet.

How it works

As designed, creating a strategy at launch will look like this:

  1. Open the Partner Dashboard and find Your Strategies.
  2. Click New Strategy and give it a clear name.
  3. Write a description of the approach: what you trade, your time horizon, and how you manage risk.
  4. Choose whether it is public or invite-only.
  5. Save. Once copy trading is live, eligible trades mirror to that strategy’s copiers.

What each strategy row shows

  • Name and a status dot.
  • Copiers and AUM, the capital copiers have allocated to it.
  • Total return and monthly return.

Things to know

  • Figures are placeholders today. Do not quote the preview numbers publicly as your own results.
  • Design details can change before launch. Check the roadmap article for updates.
  • Your track record matters most. A clear description and consistent history will be what copiers look at first.

Troubleshooting

  • New Strategy does nothing? Expected. Strategy creation is not currently available.
  • Strategy has copiers you don’t recognize? Those rows are sample data, not real users.

FAQ

Q: Can I create a strategy today?

A: No. Strategy creation is not currently available and arrives with copy trading.

Q: Will I be able to run several strategies?

A: That is the design: each strategy would have its own copier count, AUM, and returns.

Q: Public or invite-only?

A: As planned, public maximizes reach and invite-only gives you control over who can copy.
