A watchlist is a named set of tickers you want to follow, such as “Dividend Kings” or “AI Leaders.” Lists are saved to your account and feed the Watchlist card on your Home dashboard.
Step-by-step
- Open Watchlist from the top nav.
- Click + New List next to My Watchlist.
- Enter a name (up to 80 characters). Each of your lists needs a unique name.
- Under “What do you want to follow?”, choose Stock, Politician, Crypto, or Commodity, then search and add items. Stock search covers NYSE and NASDAQ listings.
- Review the theme suggestions. Ezana reads keywords in your list name and suggests matching tickers you can add in one click.
- Optionally pick a color tag, add notes, and turn on “Notify me on major price moves (±5%).”
- Click create. You need a name and at least one item.
Adding tickers later
- On the Watchlist page: use the “Search ticker or company” box, click the plus next to a result, and choose which list to add it to.
- From Company Research: click Add to Watchlist on a company and pick a list.
Things to know
- Color tag, notes, and alert setting are stored in your browser. They apply on the device where you created the list.
- Removing tickers, renaming, and deleting lists are not currently available from the Watchlist page.
- Name already taken? You already have a list with that name. Pick a different one.
- Ticker won’t add? Confirm it is listed on NYSE or NASDAQ.
