Completing Lessons, Quizzes, and Earning Certificates

Each course is a chapter made of reading sections followed by a short quiz. Sections can include text, charts, callouts, key terms, ticker cards, and videos. You finish the reading, confirm it, then take the quiz; passing it completes the course and earns you XP, Learning ELO, and progress toward badges.

Step-by-step

  1. Open a course from the Learning Center.
  2. Work through each section. Tap any ticker mentioned to see a quick snapshot.
  3. At the end, click Finish chapter, then Confirm & unlock quiz.
  4. Click Take Quiz.
  5. Answer each question. You see Correct! or Not quite. after each one.
  6. Click Submit quiz once every question is answered.
  7. Review your Performance Summary, which lists your correct and incorrect answers.

Passing and rewards

  • You pass with a score of 70% or higher.
  • Your first pass on a course awards 50 XP and Learning ELO: 10 points for basic, 20 for intermediate, and 35 for advanced courses.
  • Passing also updates your track progress and any badges you have earned.
  • The footer then points you to the next course in the track, or back to the Learning Center.

Troubleshooting

  • “Please answer question N before submitting”? Go back and pick an answer for that question.
  • “Mark reading as complete before taking the quiz”? Finish the chapter and click Confirm & unlock quiz first.
  • Didn’t pass? Use Retry to answer only the questions you missed. Your correct answers are kept.
  • Certificates: completion certificates are not currently available. Passed courses show in your Learning Center progress and badges instead.

A: Yes. Retry the questions you missed, or revisit the course later. Your most recent submission is what’s recorded.

Q: Do I earn XP again if I pass a course twice?

A: No. XP and Learning ELO are awarded only on your first pass of each course.

Q: What is the “Apply it in Ezana” link?

A: Some courses end with a link into the relevant part of the app so you can try the concept right away.
