Webhooks let a server you control receive a message the moment something happens, instead of polling the API. Ezana does not currently send webhook events. The Webhook URL field under Settings, then API is a preview of the planned setup, and saving a URL there does not start any deliveries.
This article explains what exists today, what to use instead, and how to prepare an endpoint so you are ready if webhooks launch.
How it works
- Open Settings → API. You will see a Webhook URL field below the endpoint table.
- You can type an HTTPS URL, but no events are sent to it. Webhook delivery is not currently available.
- To track new data, call the relevant API endpoints on a schedule (for API customers), or use in-app notifications under Settings → Notifications.
- For partner earnings, check Settings → Payouts, which shows your pending balance and payout history.
Preparing an endpoint
If you want to be ready for a future launch, the usual good practice for any webhook receiver applies:
- Serve it over public HTTPS with a valid certificate.
- Return a 2xx response quickly and do heavy work in the background.
- Make processing idempotent so a repeated delivery does not double count.
- Plan to verify every payload before trusting it. The verification method will be documented at launch.
What is not available
- Event selection (for example congressional trades, portfolio alerts, copier events, or payout notices).
- A Send Test button or delivery log.
- Signed payloads.
Copier events in particular depend on copy trading, which has not launched.
Troubleshooting
- Saved a URL but nothing arrives. Expected. Webhooks are not currently sent.
- Need real-time alerts now. Use in-app and email notifications from Settings, then Notifications.
